The variety of tomatoes popularly called 'Cherry', because of its resemblance to cherry, has come to break with force in the market of fruits and vegetables because of the advantages it represents compared to the traditional tomato. The 'Solanum Lycopersicum' is the original tomato plant of the current Peru and Mexico, being a very colored edible berry with strong shades of yellow to red. Its probable ancestor of this cultivated variety is the wild Cerasiforme (cherry form), which grows spontaneously in several tropical or subtropical regions of the world, either in a controlled or accidental manner. Its fruit has, therefore, a diameter of 1 to 3 centimeters with a light weight of 10 to 15 grams with a slightly acid taste and is consumed mostly fresh or processed in different ways, either as sauce, puree or juice. This annual plant has simple leaves, petiolate and sunken limbo. In addition, all its green parts contain glandular hairs that when rubbing emit a liquid with a characteristic odor. Its flowers appear in clusters with a variable number.
