The loquat (Mespilus germanica) is a tree of the Rosaceae family, of Chinese origin, but currently cultivated mainly in countries of Asia, Europe and America. It produces orange and fleshy fruits, with a sweet taste and acid touch, but also the medlar contains vitamins and minerals important for our organism, highlighting sugars, potassium, vitamin C, magnesium, calcium, vitamin B, fiber, pectin, tannins and vitamin A.
